OneNote is the only note-taking app that I know of capable of doing something like this. You can click at any area of the page and begin typing. On the other hand, OneNote gives its users more versatility and flexibility in the way notes are created. They can provide inspiration and structure on what’s possible. There is a menu with complex formulas that you can further explore to help with your work and research. Evernote allows the ability to use battle-tested templates and workflows that save you time. Just type equal to (=) sign at the end followed by Enter key and OneNote will solve it on the fly. You can solve simple equations by simply typing them inside a note. OneNote comes with serious mathematical prowess. OneNote doesn’t have a sidebar so you have to go in and out of notebooks to move around. It is easier to jump between folders, notes, and tags. Evernote’s mobile app is more refined and offers a better user experience thanks to a sidebar menu. In spite of similarities, there are plenty of differences between Evernote and OneNote. A OneNote team member said that they are working on the ability to add tags to notes in a Reddit AMA. You can also move these containers, and all information inside it, anywhere and across sections and pages. Instead of tagging notes, you can tag these individual containers inside a note. This is helpful when you want to present data side by side. It doesn’t have to start from a new line on the left. You can type almost anywhere inside a OneNote note. (It even has cool end-to-end encrypted sync, so you can self-host or put in the cloud without worries.).Where OneNote differs is how it is structured and how it functions. You might want to look at markdown editors with live preview. My favorite thing about it is that I was able to sync between my laptop and phone with e2e encryption using OneDrive for free (because I already had plenty of OneDrive space I wasn’t using). PanWriter: Cross-platform writing tool runs on anything and outputs to anything That reminds me of another option I forgot to mention: Joplin.Not sure if I understood you correctly about the integration, "SilentNotes" cannot sync with "Standard notes", it is just an app which can synchronize its own notes between devices using a local NextCloud instance. Hmm, maybe I mixed it up with Joplin then. Suggest me a note taking app that syncs between phone and pc but does NOT store notes in the cloud.
